We offer five different basic work skills programs for our clients. Our on-campus programs helps clients learn work skills, coping skills and gain valuable experience in Production, Retail, Food Service, Management and Office environments.
Clients that successfully participate in our on-campus programs become eligible to enroll in the Ready to Work Program at Piedmont Technical College. Clients graduating from the Ready to Work Program earn a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, OSHA Training Certification, and a Forklift Operator Certification.
Clients who complete both phases of the program are typically hired within ten days for higher paying jobs that allow them to afford local housing and earn enough to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
Our Trauma Healing Programs encourages the adoption and practice of healthy behaviors that support the mental and physical well-being of homeless individuals who have experienced trauma.
Coping Skills training develops skills to reduce the effects of trauma and creates opportunities for clients to rebuild personal control.
The Homeless Art Therapy Program uses art as a catalyst for healing and therapy.
The Trauma Healing Courses are faith-based courses that empower people to overcome trauma.
Our Trauma Healing Programs are only available for clients staying at the Pathway House.
We offer a safe place to stay and the support needed to transition from life on the streets to ongoing self-sufficiency.
